We must also question: why did University of Canterbury go through two internal hearings involving senior leadership and even hire a Queen’s Counsel, yet still fail to recognise basic facts such as numbers and dates? This was all done using taxpayer and investor money not to serve education, but instead to intimidate, ignore the truth, and cover up fundamental issues. Such actions demonstrate a pattern of bullying and discrimination, rather than fulfilling their duty as an educational institution.

University of Canterbury silences one student using false documents, intimidation, and taxpayer-funded lawyers, what will stop them from doing it again?  It mobilises students, educators and the public to safeguard academic freedom, expose institutional misconduct and defend every learner’s right to a safe, honest education.Thank you for standing with us.

Two internal hearings involving 40 staff members and Queen’s Counsel Richard Raymond (NZ$600–800 per hour) were held by UC.

Outcome: The falsified supervision date was upheld. No corrections were made. Estimated cost to the public: NZ$300,000–1,000,000.

You have the ability to understand numbers and dates correctly. If you believe education matters to us and our next generations, take a moment to act, especially when institutions like UC fail to uphold the true values of education.

Also what kind of educational environment are this institute currently creating, one that will shape the minds and hearts of the next generation? If the answer troubles you, it’s time to act.
