Prior to my arrival, a staff member named Susan Bouterey falsely claimed on her university profile that she began supervising me on 16 June 2015 — a date that predates both my arrival (9 September 2015, as confirmed by my immigration stamp) and my official enrolment. I had never approached or requested her as a supervisor and was entirely unaware of her involvement until mid-2017.
The timeline constructed by the University of Canterbury contradicts verified records from New Zealand Immigration. This discrepancy raises serious concerns about the university’s documentation practices, and whether internal procedures are being manipulated to rewrite factual history—at odds with government records and legal reality.
University of Canterbury’s timeline is so creative, it should be submitted for fiction awards—not legal review!
